http://midatlanticinfrared.com/data-center-cooling-optimization/ Mid Atlantic Infrared ServiceMid Atlantic Infrared Services has been providing data center support for over 30 years. We help ensure reliable operation in all of your critical electrical and mechanical systems. We have expanded our engineering services to include data center cooling optimization services. All too often data center operators implement “energy saving” investments without fully understanding the actual energy balances in the data center. This approach will never deliver maximum efficiency. We take the opposite approach. We fully characterize the existing energy balances in the data center. We then find the most cost effective energy saving opportunities. We have developed new, cutting edge technologies to support benchmarking data center operations. We rely on an array of tools to determine both the costs and benefits of alternative approaches to maximizing the efficiency of what you already have in place. Our techniques are readily applied in large and small legacy data centers where savings of 20% can often be achieved with minimal investment cost. |

We packed The Grille!
We got video of ByteGrid's facility, then made it to the hotel in time to set up and run to The Capital Grille - made it by 5, and a few, like Bob Messing of Server Technology were already there.
Steve Leanos of AboveNet ordered rounds of carved steak, steak wraps, calamari, dinner toast, and other delicious food, and around 6, Bob Messing ordered a round for the 40+ industry professionals that had joined us and were having a great time!
Thanks Steve and Bob, and everyone who joined us in making the a great, successful Happy Hour!
See you in a few hours at the event,
Brady
We're on our way!
We'll be heading to Silver Springs, MD, in the morning (Wed, 3/21) to video a tour of ByteGrid's facility, then on to Vienna, VA to coordinate event setup at The Concourse Conference Center. Will head to The Capital Grille around 4:15 or so be able to greet everyone at the door with name badges (we'll have blanks and pens, too).
Thursday is event day, Julie Lowery and I will be ready to greet everyone at our sign-in desk starting around 11am. Remember to bring your ticket (you can print another if you can find your confirmation email). The ticket has a quick check-in scan code that we'll scan with our phones.
We have a great group of speakers who will provide you with fresh and interesting information, for sure! We'll video and photograph the entire event, so if something interests you, just make a note of who said or presented it, or when it was presented, and you'll be able to listen again. (Note: video and photographic equipment is not allowed inside the auditorium, per agreement on ticket).
So, have lots of cards ready, arrive on time, grab some food and beverage, find a seat, and get ready to network with hors d'ouevres and wine/beer for an hour or so afterward.
Thanks so much for attending, and please say 'Hi'!
Again, thank you!
Best regards,
